A life long passion for interesting places, and people, fuels the desire to be on the go. These photos are of travels around the globe that we were fortunate enough to experience. It is always a pleasure to meet new people, and I am very thankful to those who kindly shared their culture with me, and for new friendships. I never tire of the grandeur of Pachamama - Mother Earth. Traveling is both humbling and incredibly exciting.
Two trips to Thailand in two years. The first trip we flew in from Vietnam, to meet Jon and Rachel for lunch in Bangkok. That’s a long way to travel for some Pad Thai. A year later, with a new focus on trying to help people, to carry on the legacy of Jonathan, we went to Pong Ngan, Thailand, another Give location. It is out in the middle of nowhere, in the jungle outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Cambodia, May 2019. This was a fascinating trip. Even more impressive than the sights of ancient Angkor Wat was the overwhelming kindness of the Cambodian people. They were genuinely nice and very polite. The sunsets over lotus fields, the artistry of Phare, the temple grounds of Angkor Thom, the Floating City - there is so much to see and experience in Cambodia!
The gallery is coming soon! Vietnam was an experience like no other. It had a distinct authenticity of a less touristy destination, which was part of the appeal. The weekend markets and overnight trains and the serenity of Halong Bay - so much to see!
